Air Up There Wins 2010 Sprite Showdown Dunk Contest

Not a big surprise but Air Up There in a rare dunk contest appearance won it with a mix of 360 dunks.

The finals came down to a tired Los (who had to have a dunk-off with Young Hollywood) and Air Up There. AUT did try the 720 but was smart and completed a "safer" dunk after missing it.

The event will be shown on NBATV at 6PM EST on Saturday.

After the TFB DVD and Team Flight Training/Jump Program we will be releasing the Air Up There Bio DVD.

Lebron jumped out of his seat on a couple of AUT dunks and he will get to see him soon again when TFAS does the half-time for the Cavs and Celtics game next month. The other dunkers will be Kenny Dobbs, Hawk and Reemix

Other shows coming up include the Inaugural TFAS Presents NFL VS NBA game this summer, The NBA 2k Sports Classic, Otoze Africa Tour and many more national and international events.

Christian. Great post. It's so true that YouTube has spoiled people b/c they can watch a 1 minute mix made from an hour of footage. Not to mention without the pressure of being on TV and in front of great basketball players. This doesn't apply to all guys but it does for most.

People, quit posting stuff about Guy Dupuy unless it's a point that can be discussed. Yes, Guy Dupuy is one of the best show dunkers of all-time and probably would of gave Air Up There some competition and maybe won but he wasn't able to participate. End of story. Hopefully we will see him next year.

a LOT of misses sadly made this contest less appealing.. Air Up There won this because he knew what he could do and he did it with excellence :)
I think people expected too much from some of the guys.. What we got to see, was all the misses we don't see in the edited videos on Youtube..
The DJ didn't help the contest either.. Everybody in the chat really hated on him..
