All things BASKETBALL

Twitter is becoming one of the best social networking applications. What exactly is Twitter? It is a way to let the world, or at least your own readers know what you are up-to. Small text messages sent out by Twitter users are limited to 140 characters in length, known as "tweets", to your friends, or "fans." This is all you get to work with, however remarkably this is just adequate for a short update.

Some users consider Twitter as a broadcasting system, such as Yahoo IM. What makes Twitter so special is actually its simplicity and efficiency. In fact you can post a tweet and your followers will all receive your tweet instantly.

How does Twitter Work?

In order to use twitter, you need to sign up for the service. This really is quite a straightforward process that can be carried out in few short minutes. You just have to go to the homepage of the website, and find the 'Sign Up' tab and follow the steps. Choose a name that will fit with what you do or perhaps what you do. You will also have an option of creating a short profile, and adding a user profile image to it, don’t forget the picture, people today would like to know who they are following. Once you are done with this simple sign up process, you are ready to start tweeting, follow your friends and promote your business.

Learning how to make use of Twitter this exciting, totally free, and useful program can be a touch overwhelming for the beginner, but don't be put off - with some effort and plenty of innate feeling your way through, being able to use Twitter effectively can make you 'digitally' popular!
How to use Twitter is a question that can be answered in several ways by different people. This question can be answered by a wedding party organizer completely differently than a furnishings manufacture. You have to remember, Twitter is just a tool, just like telephone and email. What you do with Twitter depends on your need and your clients needs alone.

•    Create a Twitter Account (Twitter.com) if you don’t have one currently

•    Put together an effective biography that is interesting and appealing.

•    Follow the right people on Twitter with similar interest.

•    Tweet often, I'll say to start 2 times each day and you can go to 5 times per day when you get more comfortable with the idea of tweeting

•    Check the comments from your followers that are directed at you.

•    Keep your tweets less than 140 characters; I recommend a tweets shorter than 140 characters, so when someone retweets your tweets can still be below 140 characters.

•    Learn tweeting by looking and reading other tweeters you follow.

•    Use third-party applications for ease of mobility and account sharing.

•    Look for people from organizations that you are in or for those that share a common interest.

•    Try to add value to your followers, if not tweeter will not be effective.

Many small and midsized companies started to understand exactly how to Use Twitter for business. But doing so requires particular skills and persistence. It’s quite easy to build a large network of followers on twitter in few short weeks that can consist of friends, associates, business partners and possible customers and clients. The Andrew Bynum Problem

The Lakers have a problem, and his name is Andrew Bynum. As sad as it is to say, basketball’s most legendary player and iconic franchise are having their season marred by a petulant, entitled, and immature man-child.They’re stuck in a Lord of the Flies style power struggle, with Bynum (delusionally) thinking he’s the Lakers’ best player, an aging Kobe desperately clawing for two more rings, and an overwhelmed Mike Brown hopelessly trying to mix the two into a championship. This ongoing playoff…See More

Kobe vs LeBron: The Battle of the Hideous Hairlines

Welcome to the retro-diary of last nights Lakers-Heat game! This lockout-shortened season has given us many horrible basketball games. It’s been painful to watch these teams grind out 80 points every night while the folks at ESPN pretend that nothing’s wrong and move us from one pitiful game to the next. This is the first game I’ve been excited for all season. Let’s hope it doesn’t disappoint. 8:00: TNT opens the telecast with a Rise Against song.
